The Remade in Australia campaign is an initiative of the Australian Government that aims to showcase the importance of recycling and the amazing things that are happening to waste when it is recycled. It is not associated with, or funded by, the Australian Made Campaign.
The Remade in Australia campaign is designed to help shift thinking away from waste being perceived as rubbish, to waste being viewed as a valuable resource that can be reused. It showcases the innovation and creative thinking that Australian businesses are applying, to remake waste into a whole raft of things–from roads and boardwalks, through to everyday household products and fashion items like shoes, sunglasses and coffee tables.
